After working a number of years in public health both in the US and abroad, Holly landed in Southern Oregon. First studying to become a medical massage therapist over 15 years ago and later becoming a clinical herbalist through VCIH. She practices both through her private practice Cascadia Rooted Wellness in Ashland, Oregon.
Through her massage therapy practice she practices techniques of orthopedic massage, with the goals of increasing mobility, releasing tension, and relieving pain. Through her investigation of the quality of movement of joints, muscles and fascia, she enjoys identifying the underlying reason of lack of movement and tension. She enjoys bringing herbal support and nutrition into treatment of fascial dysfunction and healing, lending to a holistic approach to injury rehabilitation.
